I haven’t mentioned this dreadful act so far, not through a lack of caring, but simply because there didn’t seem a great deal of point.
As some of you will know, I like to sound off about politicians and others who, in my opinion, are getting it wrong, or are in some way being unfair, or their usual inept selves.
But, in this case, to start ranting at these twisted bastards would be to a) give them my two penny worth of publicity, which is something such people desire from every possible source – and b) waste my time, because they wouldn’t give a damn what I or anyone else thinks, whereas politicians don’t like their shortcomings being pointed out even by a voice as small as mine.
However, when I read this article, I was so impressed that I felt I just had to highlight it. It is one of the best descriptions I have come across anywhere of terrorism and it’s aims. Although the author sees this as something new, it seems to me that almost all terrorists are more or less like this. Some may have a cause, but I’m sure they often find that cause mostly because they want to be terrorists, rather than the other way round – and that’s perhaps the most disgusting product of modern communication for, without it, many of these people would never start out on their evil path, let alone achieve the notoriety they so obviously crave.

Thanks for the link CJ.
Anyone that kills innocent people on purpose is a COWARD, pure and simple.
